Giltner Area Development Corporation (GADC)
Giltner Area Development Corporation (GADC) helps to gain more housing and businesses and supports improvement for the benefit of all persons who inhabit the area. Their goals are as follows: host clean up day, acquire lot and build spec home, develop village website, plant trees to replace old or removed trees, help GGG Club with library hours, gifting to GADC, new community hall, promote additional housing, promote spec home, and recruit businesses. Everyone is invited to become a member of the GADC. The GADC has sponsored the following projects: welcome baskets, presentation at alumni banquet, clean up day, ball park, pork feed, ice cream social, spec home, display cases in the town hall, welcome signs, new church signs, homecoming, Red Cross donations for Hurricane Katrina, yard of the month, community attitude survey, library help,new community/fire barn, aerial shot of Giltner, Experience Giltner Day, featured on "Road Less Traveled," street banners, Chocolate Lover's Haven, and has promoted applications for housing re-habilitation grants for Giltner residents. Their annual membership dues are $25/individual, $15/ Seniors (62 years or older), and $125/business. Gifts and memorials can be made in the following ways: cash gifts, memorial gifts, testamentary gifts, gifts in kind, gifts of real estate, gifts of securities, gifts of life insurance and trusts as gifts.

Lions Club
The Lions Club provides the community with the baseball and softball activites during the summer. The season runs from the last part of May through June with tournaments in July. The age groups are as follows: co-ed Teeball 3 years old- Kindergarten, girls 9 & under, girls 12 & under, girls 14 & under, girls 18 & under, boys 9 & under, boys 12 & under, boys 15 & under, and boys 18 & under. The age cut off date is January 1st. There have been a few changes for the 2006 season, 12 & under girls cannot run on a dropped third strike, they are out, and the boys' teams are now by age not by grade. Booster Club
The Booster Club is a non-profit, fund-raising organization, utilizing our revenue towards the growth and enhancement of extra-curricular activities for grades K through 12 at Giltner Public School.

Greenwood
Greenwood meets every fourth Thursday of the month to play pitch at the Giltner Public Library. Everyone is eligible to join.

Senior Citizen's Organization
The Giltner Senior Citizen's Organization is a branch of the Hamilton County Senior Citizen Organization with Barbara Graham of Aurora as the director. They welcome anyone 60 years of age and over. Giltner's regular meeting day is the 4th Tuesday of each month. A pot luck luncheon (one dish per person) will be served promptly at 12:00 followed by a short business meeting after which cards are usually played. A fee of 50 cents per person is asked as a donation only on the day you attend, to help cover their Memorial gifts, cards and other donations. Their regional representative for "Experience Works" is Margaret Moore of Giltner and those senior citizens who wish to work a few hours at a minimum wage may contact her at 694-2176. Bonnie Rudy is the Giltner representative of Co. Meetings at the Senior Center in Aurora.
